The Issue
When many people think about hunger, they do not consider its presence in the United States, let alone in rural areas. In a country where obesity has become an epidemic, the food crisis is more about what food Americans have access to and its affects on their health. Food Warriors believe that everyone should have access to fresh, healthy, and natural foods, regardless of income. Every person has a right to good health and we aim to provide it through all means possible.
This will be an ongoing project within our community. Our goal is to provide fresh, healthy and organic food to our area. We are open to anyone interested in our cause. If you'd like to contribute or discuss other ways to help, feel free to contact us!
